The past few week has been really, really hot, it got over 37 degrees celcius in the afternoon and it didn't cool off at night enough to get a comfortable temperature in my bedroom. Couldn't sleep much.
So we went to the beach somewhere between Santa Monica and Malibu to get some air and such. It was almost twenty degrees colder up there and there was a grey fog, and it made me not want to go into the ocean but it was extremely nice to be in a more or less normal temperature and the ocean is always beautiful.
After this we had a paella party at Daniel Porras, a painter, 's place, which has a fantastic garden and a lot of cocktails and mixed drinks. The crowd was also mixed. There was a Spanish cinematographer - at almost every party there's someone from the film industry.
I didn't really feel like sleeping when we got back to RAID, so I climbed the stairs of the building next to RAID to make some photos of the view.
