I've been drawing mostly and haven't been going outside so much. There was a possibility for me to drive along to the north of Nebraska - I almost drove off to a farm over there tonight with a musician who's staying in a studio in the Brewery, a trip that takes about 24 hours of driving and goes right through the Rocky Mountains. I would have flown back (for only 60 dollars or even less) to LA. Unfortunately his car is completely packed with musical equipment so there's no room for me left.
Instead I just got offered the fantastic opportunity to drive to Portland, Oregon and back with Ashley, who's going to be in a running-race of 200 miles (!) which takes place at the end of august. We just need to find a car, sinds her car got totalled in an accident a few weeks ago and my car doesn't seem to be able to last for more than thirty miles before it gets stuck.
I hope I can sell this vehicle for the best price possible - which is not much probably. Just washed it, now it actually looks like a real car and, apart from maybe the bodywork, it looks kinda sellable.
All these prospects on trips make me geographically rollercoasteral. Not that there's something wrong with being in LA but there's a lot more to see and it makes me anxious to go somewhere else, especially sinds there are apparently sometimes great opportunities flying by.
