I went for a couple of bikerides - one took me to Sunset, which in itself is not very difficult to bike on except for the first part at the Downtown area, where you have to go uphill for quite a bit.
I also went biking along the LA river, which flows close to RAID and I think that area might be where scenes from 'Grease' and 'Terminator' have been filmed. The river is not much more than a concrete ditch over here in this season. It gets a bit more riverlike upstream.
This is as much nature as I've seen up there. You can't really go down to the LA river itself, because it has these very steep concrete banks. I treated myself to a Frappucino (an iceblended coffee) at Little Tokio's Starbucks after that. You might not be able to tell from this photo but the bike I'm using is fortified with metal extras which makes the bike extremely heavy and a bit out of balance. So my muscles are being tested.
